Roma Caput Mundi

LIGHTING. A double lighting on the sculptures from the front and the back; and lighting on the Coliseum arches.
GRAPHICS. The background colors of the writings are inspired by the Roman frescoes.
PAINTING. A painted canvas depicts the map of the Roman Empire. It looked like a theatre backdrop. The canvas is on jute and made of natural pigments, glue and plaster. High impact (twelve meters by four). Painted by Gianni Ravelli and the scenographer Bettina Colombo.
